During the COVID-19 pandemic, I hosted the publication's first ever drive-up runway show to accommodate the social distancing guidelines of the CDC. The show presented 30 sustainably sourced looks through three different phases: Broken, Becoming and Bliss.

 

Through the three phases, the carefully curated clothing exhibited an individual's awakening experience. In the first phase, Broken, the model begins the process of self actualization after feeling the desire to grow as an individual, despite their fear of others’ opinions. After continuously becoming more self aware within the second phase, Becoming, the model begins to feel liberated from society’s constrictions. Lastly, in the third phase, Bliss, the model feels free from society’s expectations upon developing into their full self, openly showing their genuine personality.
