Strike GNV's Issue 03, Life Imitates Art, illustrates how different forms of art shape our lives by exploring sculpture, makeup, fashion, music and urban art. From traditional forms of artwork to newer forms of expression, Issue 03 takes inspiration from the ever-changing landscape of art. Within the issue, Strike GNV aims to change the reader's perception of what can be considered art and tempt the reader to look at the beauty of life through a wider lens. As a public relations assistant for Issue 03, I helped plan and execute the magazine’s highly successful launch party for over 250 guests. I determined the venue, created the guest list, hired caterers and entertainment, and solicited vendors, retailers and local restaurants to participate in the event. In addition, I organized a flash mob runway show during the party.
